Project Description

The OLIVE Medical & Laboratories Polyclinic in Mitrovica is a 2,500 m² healthcare facility designed to provide a full range of medical services. The project involved repurposing an existing structure to accommodate the required functions, ensuring a well-organized and patient-centered environment.

Scope of Work
The project included the planning and design of spaces necessary for a fully operational polyclinic, integrating essential medical services, diagnostic facilities, and specialized care units. The layout was optimized for efficiency, accessibility, and patient comfort.

Key Facilities and Services

1. General Medical Services
   • Consultation rooms for general check-ups and medical assessments
   • Preventive healthcare services, including vaccinations
   • Prescription services for medications
2. Laboratory and Diagnostic Services
   • A 150 m² reference laboratory for essential medical tests
   • Radiology department with CT, X-ray, and ultrasound facilities
   • ECG and urinalysis services
3. Specialist Consultations
   • Departments for internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, dermatology, ENT, orthopedics, and cardiology
   • 20 consultation rooms for medical specialists
4. Emergency and First Aid Services
   • Emergency care unit with five infusion beds
   • Facilities for minor surgical procedures, wound care, and IV therapy
5. Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation
   • Dedicated spaces for physical therapy and rehabilitation
   • Pain management programs and post-surgical recovery services
6. Mental Health Services
   • Psychological counseling and psychiatry consultations
   • Stress and anxiety management programs
7. Pharmacy
   • A fully equipped pharmacy providing prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, and health supplements

Architectural Vision

The design prioritizes natural lighting, flexible layouts, and psychological comfort, enhancing both patient and staff experiences.
